A five car team traveled to Minehead for round four of the Silverstone btrda 1400 and round two of the btrda Rally First Championships.

Gemma / Steve - Focus
Malcolm / Dave - MGZR
Rally First
Jason / Chris - Micra
Chris / Phil - VW Lupo

The event was based in Butlins Minehead where the crews competed on two tarmac and ten forest stages during the day.
At the half way halt all crews were in strong positions in there respective class´s
Clive 4th Gemma 10th Malcolm 3rd Jason 1st and Chris 4th
At service all the cars recieved there usual standard reprep and tyres with the exception of Malcolm who´s MG needed a new radiator.
The afternoon stages repeated a lot of the mornings tracks but using them in different directions.
Trouble struck on stage seven where Jason rolled his micra causing severe damage to the bodywork however with the help of the spectators managed to continue missing all its windows and a few other items, however at the end of the stage only having lost 20 seconds to his opposition.
At the finish all the crews arrived back safely having had a good afternoon;s sport.
There results being
Clive 3rd - Gemma 9th - Malcolm 1st - Jason 1st and Chris 3rd so all having fantastic results, most notable were Malcolm taking his 1ST ever N1 CLASS WIN and Jason WINNING his second Rally First round of the year. The big thing is can he get a new bodyshell and build the car ready for the next round the Dukeries in five weeks time??????????
